For Talisman it is important to invest in new production wells on our fields and recover all economic resources in a smart and efficient manner. We are good at this.

Yme is the first field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to re-open for production.

Our Canadian roots
Talisman has its headquarters in Canada where it is one of the largest international independent oil and gas producers, with a diverse portfolio of oil and gas projects.

Talisman has activities in a total of five geographic areas: North America, South America, the U.K., Norway and Southeast Asia. North America includes production in Canada and the U.S. In 2010, Talisman’s production totalled 417 000 boe/d on average.
